This 80 Hour Immersion and Certification provides an understanding of the theory of Yoga Nidra in both yogic and scientific terms, as well as various applications to be used for deep relaxation, stress management, chronic pain, anxiety and depression, insomnia, PTSD, and releasing negative emotions and thought patterns.
Yoga Nidra can be successfully used in personal practice, yoga classes, social work, massage and physical therapy, as well as alternative and integrative practices.

80 Yoga Alliance Accredited Hours which can be used as Continuing Education credits or towards a 500 Hour Training Certificate

Weekend 1
Friday May 26: 5:30pm-8:30pm
Saturday May 27: 8:00am - 12:00pm and 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Sunday May 28: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Weekend 2
Wednesday June 7, 14 and 21: 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Friday June 23: 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Saturday June 24: 8:00am - 12:00pm and 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Sunday June 25: 8:00am - 1:00pm
All training times based in PT (Vancouver)
Breakdown of Full Certification Hours:
40 Hours in-person and/or live Zoom instruction
40 Hours home study consisting of prerecorded lectures, reading and homework assignments including practice teaching and final practicum
Certification Process:
A dedicated practice of Mindful Rest Yoga Nidra prior to the Immersion is strongly recommended
A daily journaled practice between the Weekend 1 and Weekend 2
100% attendance to all sessions - preferably live (including recordings)
Practice teaching of 20 group and private yoga nidra classes
